CHECK VALVES
|
The IMH Chek™ is a threadless, cartridge-style insert designed
for simple, low cost installation into manifolds, and is based on
the same hard seat Lee Chek® designs used in flight control systems
of almost every aircraft flying today. |
A robust design and 100% testing ensures consistent, long-term
performance up to 28 MPa (4000 psid) and 149°C (300°F) or higher
depending on specific application requirements. A high quality metal
to metal seat limits leakage in the checked direction to no more
than 20 sccm of air at 172 kPa (25 psi) differential. The valves are
compatible with hydraulic fluids, brake fluids, fuels and oils and
integral safety screen protection is available.
Features and Advantages
|
- Compact Design
Can be easily integrated into high volume, automated assembly
lines. A cost effective alternative to in-house check or relief
valve design
- Metal to Metal Seating
Provides high reliability and long life
- Guided Ball Design
Aligns ball with seat and provides a positive stop to prevent
spring from going solid
- Pre-assembled
For ease in installation and handling
- Easy to use
Slip the check into a drilled hole and drive the pin flush
- Wide Operating Temperature
Range
– 50°F to +300°F
- Compatible with Most Fluids

Why fuss with the in-house approach when the Lee High-Performance Check
Valve installs in less time, works more reliably, lasts longer and costs
less.
Lee Chek® features include:
- Quick, automated installation
- 100% performance tested
- 4000 psid working pressure
- All stainless steel construction
- 5.5mm and 8.0mm diameters
- Cracking pressure from 0 to 150 psid
Check Valves in Plastic Fittings

|
Check valves can now be supplied pre-installed in plastic fittings
for disposable medical applications (eg angioplasty). Typically, two
2.5 or 5.5mm diameter check valves are used, one to provide an inlet
check valve function and the other to provide a pressure relief
function to prevent over-pressurisation of the angiplasty balloon.
